When my kids were in grade school I had a “There Goes the Bus!!” party every year at 9:30 a.m. on the first day back to school. I always had dozens of moms turn out, celebrating the new school year and let’s face it, a little freedom. They came even if they were still jammy-clad. (Okay, I served champagne.)
Well, it’s back-to-school this week for many of us and that means it’s time to have a party! There’s so much to chat about: teachers and sports and classes and lessons, plus how to feed the kids and stay sane, and what to read now we’ve a bit more predictable time.
