Cooking Demo: What do Italians eat in the summer?

PPB’s resident Italian chef, Cathy, is an expert at all things cookery but especially her own native cuisine.  Come Fall, 2018 we are excited to offer a year-long series celebrating Italian cooking from every aspect; we will have a restaurant chefs series, an “Italian Moms” home-cooking series, and of course a taste-test comparison of one of her favorite Italian cookbook authors, Lidia Bastianich and my very most favorite, Marcella Hazan.  For now though, we wanted to whet your appetites with Cathy’s favorite recipes for warm weather Italian food - salads and veggies and quicker-cook pasta sauces and entrees, plus of course -- aperitifs!  Come on over to Ciao, Italia!
