One of my favorite books of all time is Peter Mayle’s A Year in Provence.  His witty and warm-hearted account of updating a 200-year-old stone farmhouse in a  remote Provencal village, while living there — is stylish and fun, but also warmly appreciative of all things local.  Mr. Mayle passed away earlier this year, and his final book will be released on June 26th, so we knew it was time to celebrate all of his writing, and cooking from Patricia Wells’ Provence Cookbook seemed like the perfect PPB way to celebrate.  Come on over to fete Provence with us!  The cost includes a copy of A Year in Provence included (we can substitute/exchange another book if you already own it)
